Obtaining Results with Volunteer Human Capital

Roberto Osorno, PMP

Volunteer collaboration is now critical for organizational goal achievement. The Project Management Institute and its related Chapters are not isolated from this fact. Customer requirements must be met with or without voluntary contributions.

We need consistency between volunteer collaboration and the requirement to deliver on time; thus, we have to find human and organizational factors that align volunteer interests with organizational goals. In this talk, we’ll analyze these factors in the context of PMI Guadalajara Chapter's experience working with both university students and professional members.
