Why is São Paulo the perfect spot for a project management conference? Because São Paulo is Brazil’s center of commerce; a huge sprawling metropolis which has become the largest city in South America.  The residents of São Paulo have a saying that “São Paulo works so that the rest of Brazil can play”.  The city is referred to as the “Brazilian locomotive” that drives the national economy with 15 percent of Brazil’s gross national product generated there.

São Paulo boasts many ethnic minority communities including Japanese, Italian, Lebanese, Indian and German, providing a diverse selection of dining experiences.  People come from all over South America to shop in the city as well as attend some of the finest museums in the region.  The surrounding coastline has many lovely beaches and its entertainment and nightlife attract some of the best performers in the world.
