Educational Breakouts

Educational Breakouts are delivered in multiple formats.  They can be traditional presentations, workshop format, panel discussion or case studies. Educational breakouts are in three Core Knowledge Areas of the Leadership Institute Program: Association Governance (AG)/Individual Leadership Development (ILD)/PMI Institutional Knowledge (PIK).

Interactive workshops are sessions designed to encourage participation in producing a deliverable. The deliverable could be a skill, document template, case study or other.

In preparation for attending the three part workshop and to ensure that chapter leaders receive maximum value from attending these sessions, PMI is requesting that you have one (1) member of the chapter’s leadership bring documentation used by the chapter to plan for annual activities, programs, and events.  Such documentation may include but is not limited to the following:  chapter strategic plan, business plan, operational plan, program plan, annual report, member surveys, and/or membership statistics.  For those attending the workshops that do not bring these documents, PMI will supply a case study to facilitate participation in the workshops and to guide future chapter work on completing these activities.
