National Initiative: The Beginnings

In this interactive session attendees will
learn about the PMI Education Foundation’s programs, future plans and
volunteer opportunities. Presenters will include the assistant director
of the school district of Philadelphia, an associate professor from
DeVry University, a component leader and PMI Founder, a CEO of an NGP
and a representative from the PMI Educational Foundation. Two current
programs will be highlighted during this session:
• Project Management Classes for students in inner city Philadelphia
Schools
• PM4NGOs, a global humanitarian program that teaches project management
skills to front line disaster relief workers
Through learning about these programs participants will be able to
develop similar programs that will help empower the future of project
management. |
